New England tight end Chandler Jones signed with the Seattle Seahawks on Monday, the team announced.
Jones is an undrafted free agent, but the Patriots signed him to a three-year, $8.75 million deal on Friday.
Jones was a seventh-round pick of the Patriots in 2014.
The 6-foot-3, 240-pounder is a former four-star prospect out of the University of California, Berkeley, who has spent the last three seasons with the Philadelphia Eagles, New York Jets and Kansas City Chiefs.
The Patriots drafted Jones with the No. 16 overall pick in the 2016 draft.
The Seahawks have also signed free agent guard Kyle Murphy to a one-year contract, according to a league source.
Murphy, a former NFL tackle, spent the past three seasons playing for the Minnesota Vikings.
